Leadership for Community Transformation Santa Cruz County launched in 2012 through the United Way of Santa Cruz County. The program was founded by Megan Joseph, supported by United Way of Santa Cruz County and designed and facilitated by Dr. Monica Sharma of the United Nations. The program was specifically created to leverage the unique potential of Santa Cruz County to work together to create a community where everyone thrives.
Since launching in 2012, over 300 local leaders of all levels have completed the program and have been working to improve systems, policies and collaborations across the County.
A group of committed alumni have come together to continue this work, deepening and extending its influence and potential to transform Santa Cruz County. We hope you will join us in supporting this effort.
